Review:
This article is about Nyjer Morgan being an idiot on national television and acting like a sore loser. In the ninth inning he struck out and “thought” the pitch, Chris Carpenter, cursed at him. To retaliate Nyjer Morgan threw his wad of chew at the pitcher’s mound. Albert Pujols, the first baseman, stepped in and tried to protect his pitcher because that’s what teammates do for each other.
I thought what Morgan did was very childish for a professional athlete to do on national television. Major League players are supposed to be setting an example for kids so that when they play sports, they don’t have the same attitude as him. For something so dumb like “I thought he cursed at me” should be handled totally different because he was basing his reaction on an assumption. The result was a bench clearing brawl that ended that night with a strongly worded Tweet on Twitter towards the Cardinals. I don’t think Morgan had any room to talk since the Cardinals have won five of the last six games between them and the Brewers haven’t won the World Series in a long time, if ever.
I would recommend that young athletes looking for a idol, should not look at this article because it shows bad sportsmanship and a childish way of reacting to you losing a game.
